Supporting Youth Entrepreneurs: Visit to Judith, a Promising Farmer

As the three-year youth entrepreneurship support program by YMCA Togo nears its conclusion, we had the privilege of meeting judith KPATCHA, a young entrepreneur who has greatly benefited from the initiative and live at Sévagan. Alongside Patrick and Sylvain from YMCA Togo, https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1ZYsGdAVPM/ we visited her farm to hear about her journey, challenges, and aspirations for the future.

She proudly shared that she raises chickens and other livestock while also selling vegetables to diversify her business on the this youth entrepreneurship program. With the support and guidance received over the past years, she has managed to expand her operations and build a stable source of income. However, she has even bigger ambitions—her goal is to grow her poultry farm from hundreds of chickens to thousands, significantly scaling her business.

Listening to her feedback, we reflected on the impact of the program Agor@, incubateur entrepreneurial (https://atop.tg/2e-edition-du-weekend-des-jeunes-entrepreneurs-le-ymca-togo-offre-un-cadre-de-visibilite-aux-primo-entrepreneurs/) financed by Pain Pour le Monde and the importance of continued support for young entrepreneurs. Her determination and vision exemplify the success stories that initiatives like this aim to foster. As the program concludes, her story serves as a testament to the potential of youth entrepreneurship and the lasting impact of investing in young business owners.
